The standard name of the toner cartridge should be the drum. The reason why it is called the selenium drum is that when it was first born, the inorganic material – selenium material was used to make the photosensitive drum. The selenium is attached to the drum seat through evaporation to make a photosensitive drum. The waste powder rate
The waste powder rate refers to the proportion of waste powder produced by a certain amount of toner in normal printing. Toner is produced by adding various ingredients together in a certain proportion and stirring them thoroughly, and then grinding them after the corresponding treatment. In this process, it is not guaranteed that the coarseness of each toner particle and the proportion of its main ingredients carbon powder, iron powder, resin accounted for the same, only within a certain proportion. Beyond this range, the toner particles may become waste powder. The waste powder rate of toner is within the normal range of 5% to 7%. The waste powder rate also directly affects the number of pages printed with a certain amount of toner.
The resolution
Resolution refers to the dots that can be printed per inch (DPI). The thickness of the toner particles will directly affect the resolution. We can print some of the more strokes of the small print to visually inspect whether it is blurred, to determine the resolution of high and low. You can also observe whether the lines have a burr, whether the Chinese characters in the corner of the broken corner and whether there is a hollow hair and other phenomena assessment. At present, the resolution of toner is mainly 300dpi, 600dpi, 1200dip, and the resolution of 1200dpi HP1200, HP4100 two models of printers on the requirements of toner is quite high.
